J.M. Link Hi Ripley :)
I apologize for the extremely late reply! Yes, there are definitely many more books planned in the Askara series. As far as a timeline, unfortunately, I haven't been able to focus on writing nearly as much as I'd like since having our son, especially since I still work a day job (gotta pay those bills). So, I can't give timelines on anything at the moment. I will be starting a Patreon Page soon, however, that will hopefully enable me to work less, devote more time to writing and afford an expanded editing team ;)
J.M. Link Hi there,
Firstly, thank you! And you're not the only one who has requested more Tori and Aderus so I do think it's safe to say they'll likely have at least a novella at some point in the near future. I haven't decided for certain yet where I'll fit it, but, if there are readers who want more, I'm happy to oblige ;)
J.M. Link Hi Cyndi!
Thank you so much <3. Thrilled you enjoyed Earth ;) Being such a newbie author, I think I need another couple books to nail down my process first (writing/editing timelines, etc) before I tackle pre-orders, but it's definitely something on my to do list! I always try to post regular updates on Facebook (JM Link Author) and my blog https://jmlinkblog.blogspot.com to keep readers informed. You can also join my (e-)mailing list (Linked to JM) via either site to receive direct emails on release days for any of my future books. Plus a chance at giveaways ;)

As far as alien-human hybrid babies Lol-- you're not the only one to ask and I can tell you I'm still working out those details. I tend to think in terms of an entire series, rather than individual books, which is why you will likely see appearances of past couples/characters in each subsequent book. At least that's how I envision it. So, we'll see what happens *wink* I think it's safe to say that someone at some point will be tackling that "hurdle", and a few readers have even posed the idea of a follow-up book for Tori and Aderus. Definitely open to that as well :)

All the best,
Love & Hugs
JM
J.M. Link Hey LtRR!
I just emailed GR support. Gonna figure this out and if there's a way to add Earth I'll get it done :D Thank you for the examples!! <3
J.M. Link Hi there LtRR!
Thank you so much <3 I'm thrilled you enjoyed Askara and are eager for book 2 Lol. I'll be sure to get Earth up on Goodreads ASAP, but that I'm aware you can only add published books? The cover is done and so far, on schedule for an end of Aug release (Yay). If I'm missing something, please, let me know! Otherwise, don't worry, I hear you. None of my future books will be cliffhangers ;)
J.M. Link Hi Linda! Tori and Aderus will only have the two books, then I'll be moving on to other characters :) ...Though I did have someone suggest they'd love to see their story become the series but I already have, for instance, the palkriv and Braxas's stories laid out. Tori & Aderus will make appearances though, I'm sure ;)
J.M. Link Hi Sabrina!
LOL. I know. I promise, no cliffies for any of my other books ;) I'm shooting for June, but am posting a Chapter One teaser on my blog next Sun the 29th (link below :) Working with my designer on the cover as we speak!! I'm thrilled you enjoyed it :D Thank you so much <3
J.M. Link Well, I'm a Trekkie (grew up watching Next Generation). Nuff said. When I started writing Saving Askara, alien romance had only just crept onto the scene. Most of the "aliens" were pretty human-looking, and I remember thinking, "Really?" I love Laurann Dohner, Penelope Fletcher, Poppy Rhys, to name a few.
J.M. Link I daydream, read my favorite authors' blogs/Tweets, watch a sci-fi/fantasy/paranormal movie, or, read a good book. Of course!
J.M. Link Chasing Earth (Tori & Aderus Part II). But I have 2 or 3 other stories outside the world of Askara that I'm itching to write... #more to come.
J.M. Link Read, a lot. Know your genre, what inspires you. Connect with authors, read their blogs, do your research. Never stop writing. Be driven and don't give up (it took me 5 years and 2 major re-writes before I published). You gotta love it.
J.M. Link Omg, the hours! Go to bed when I want, get up when I want, eat when I want. LOL. Best. Job. Ever. And, I get to spend my days in worlds I create. How cool is that?
J.M. Link I do something else. A hot bath (my fave), a walk, cook. It's in those between times, when I let my mind wander, that my imagination loves to play.
...okay, maybe not cooking. Daydreaming and a gas stove isn't the best combo.
