If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Melony Rae Naturally, I would be Captain Delacroix, in command of a Spanish galleon. 18th Century. You have to admit, the way the dressed cannot be matched by today's standards.

Melony Rae I have been reading Thesaurus of the Senses by Linda Hart, Naughty Words for Nice Writers by Cara Bristol, and The Writer's Body Lexicon by Kathy Steinemann

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Melony Rae Several years ago, I got the idea for this novel. I had a passion for pirates as well as a love of vampires and gothic themes. The eighteenth and nineteenth centuries are my favorite eras. The novel just took on a life of its own. A bit like if Dracula and Pirates of the Caribbean had a baby.
