Inspiration doesn't knock. You have to have the doors open, your armchair in the front hall, and be shouting "hey, inspiration, get your butt in here" for it to even consider visiting. But when it does be sure you have the right tools (duct tape, rope, a "what if" mentality) to keep it around until you've taken everything you need from it.

Ah, good question. Fake is earnest and ambitious, but it is also slim, so it alas is not comprehensive. And hopefully readers find it thought-provoking and delightful. Since my book is neither a verb nor an adjective, however, I wouldn’t use any adverbs to describe it. 😎
