I'm not too sure about a sequel. Despite there being some monumental discoveries and happenings since I wrote this book, I'm not so sure I could capture the same 'immediacy' as I would have to write it retrospectively.
I am working on a novel however!

Anne, thanks for sharing something so deeply personal and making the challenging topic so accessible to families and friends with gender dysphoria. This was a needed and under written about topic, affecting millions of people around the world. Beautifully written! Did writing the book serve its goal as a cathartic means to deal with the rollercoaster of Paula's transition?

To answer your question. Yes. The research I undertook really opened my eyes to a world I knew nothing of, and gave me a much more sensitive and informed outlook.
The writing itself helped remove the thoughts from my head, providing far more clarity and objectivity to deal with the situation.

Anne M. Reid My book started as a form of catharsis, as I found myself facing a tumultuous and unexpected series of changes.
