Halston James I probably deal with writer's block in the worst possible way... I stop writing. I take a breather. I don't know I know people say push through it but I always just take a break. Regroup. Come back to it.
Halston James Ideas are everywhere. You can literally write from anywhere nowadays, a tablet, a computer, a laptop, a phone, and even a pen and some paper.
Halston James Read a lot. Write a lot. Don't give up. Don't compare yourself to other people (in any aspect) but especially your writing.
Halston James I'm currently working on a contemporary romance that I'm really in love with. I'm still plotting but I'm very excited about it.
Halston James Oh man, anything can inspire you to write. Anything, everything. If you see a homeless person on the street you think how did he get there? Where is his family? Was it always like this for them? You can imagine all types of different scenarios and boom you have a story. Life is a series of stories.
Halston James My most recent story is actually part of an anthology so we got to choose the fairytales we were retelling. Luckily, I had already had a fairytale in mind and had already had snippets of it written.
