It's not inspiration, really. If I waited to be inspired I wouldn't get much writing done. Whether it is working out dialogue or just random wondering, making up stories is like the background noise of my brain. Each night I try to write down what works its way to the front.

The village of Timberhaven was, at first, only created so that various characters and concepts I'd thought up over the years - the ones I didn't really know what to do with - could have a home. I made them up with no real story in mind, so Timberhaven was kind of like the toybox I used to house my little Island Of Misfit Toys. Suddenly those characters started talking to each other; started playing with those loose concepts. Thus, Waking The Weaver was born.
