Jason VanHorn Inspiration for Alabaster Dangermond and the Serpent's blade came from nighttime story telling to my children. They wanted me to tell them an adventure and so I came up with Al and his friends and the evil, Dr. Zerick Moonshae.
Jason VanHorn My children inspire me to write and also fellow writers. My children are the best and we talk about writing and stories all the time. Books are EVERYWHERE in my house, scattered here, there, and all the nooks.
Jason VanHorn As of Feb 2018, I am working on a variety of projects, both fiction and non-fiction. Fiction is the follow-up to the first book in the Dangermond Series. The non-fiction are three papers: 1) terrorism, 2) restorative justice in the prison system, and 3) geographical philosophy & religion.

Jason VanHorn I typically take a break and find some creative outlets that stir my imagination. Books on my TBR pile, operas & symphony, movies & shows, and spending time wood-working feed my creative soul.
