I live in London, where the air is really dirty. A few years ago, I happened to read some of the science on how powerfully air pollution affects our health, and how many people it harms. Journalistically, it seemed to me like a really important story, and one that wasn't getting enough attention. So I started covering it. Soon, I was following it around the world, meeting activists, scientists, politicians, and ordinary people living with pollution.
