Dwayne Gill Thank you for the well-wishes! There is no definite date yet, but I'm aiming for March 2020 to publish the prequel of Book 3, titled "Dilation." Book 3, "Attrition," will be released in June or July of 2020.
Dwayne Gill There is indeed a Book 3 being written right now. The prequel to Book 3 will be published around March 2020 with the novel following in the early summer. I normally publish much faster than this, and I apologize for the delay, but I was hit with a parade of injuries and illnesses in the second half of 2019 and early 2020 (I’m currently recovering from pneumonia). However, 2020 will be a highly productive year, so expect up to four releases!

On a side note, I’d encourage you to join my author group on Facebook (Dwayne Gill Fan Club). You’ll get lots of updates, including the cover reveal for Book 3 (Attrition), which I unveil early this week!

Regards,

Dwayne Gill
Dwayne Gill I have not experienced writer's block, yet. I think the reason is that I have the stories in my head, from start to finish, so I'm never stuck trying to form a plot. I don't think this will always be the case; I think that in time I'll experience it.
Dwayne Gill The most rewarding thing for me is to finally see the stories that I've had in my head come to life on the page and to know that it's permanent. Whether or not I sell a single book, my work will be available for my kids and grandkids to access someday.
Dwayne Gill My advice is to believe in your own ability. I put off writing for far too long because it seemed like it was a wild dream. Something too good to be true, maybe.

The other piece of advice would be to go all in. There's a lot more to being an author than simply writing. You must sell yourself. Be prepared to put in work if you want people to read what you've written.
Dwayne Gill I'm currently working on the first novel of my series "Written By Blood." It's coming along quite nicely.
Dwayne Gill I was inspired to write on two different fronts: One, I had an incredibly vivid imagination as a kid, and by the time I reached adulthood I had accumulated a library of different stories that were begging to be told. Two, I excelled in English and Grammar all my life and impressed several of my teachers along the way enough that they often encouraged me to become a writer. One teacher even gave me a special award at a ceremony. She asked for an autographed copy of my first book, a promise that I still intend to fulfill.
Dwayne Gill I got the idea for it right out of my imagination, when I was about 12 years old. I had a 2 1/2 hour school bus ride to and from school every day, so I would lay back on my seat every morning and play an entire movie, start to finish, in my mind. The novel series that I'm currently writing originated from those movie mornings, although it certainly has evolved since.
