I don't really know. I've always kind of thought that Fairies were always the same in every book, so I wanted to try something different. It actually started as a writing game that me and my grandmother played before getting to our other writing class stuff. When looking for a main story to work on a few months later we decided to go with the fairies with swords.

Though I have not read this series in a while, I would probably have to say Redwall abby from the Redwall books. The abby is so peaceful (when it's not under attack) and the author does such a good job of describing it. I mean, who doesn't want to spend a summer at redwall abby?
