The "Watchers" of the Bible have always been an interesting concept for me. The spiritual world and all of its mystery, paired with a little embellished fantasy would give me the inspiration for "The Watcher Key." I've always wanted to create my own strange world, full of interesting people and dramatic conflicts between good & evil, but with a positive spiritual message of the love of God for His people.
In the books, the "Creator" is most certainly based on our connection with the Creator God of the Bible, and some of the characters in the book will come to know him as we Christians do the One True God.
Ultimately, it is for this reason I wrote "The Watcher Key" and will continue that theme throughout the series, where individuals, met with adversity, find comfort in the fact that there is a God, and He loves us very much.

Daydreaming! Amazing magical worlds, ferocious bad guys, and whacky characters all live inside my mind, just waiting to escape! Sometimes all I need to do is find a quiet place to let my mind wander, and BAM! Inspiration.

Book two of the series called "The Watcher Tower." Since "The Watcher Key" was just published, I'm hoping for a release sometime late fall 2018, but that will mean that I will need to get working on it! Currently on chapter 6, and it's been a fun one to write so far! I think you'll enjoy it!

You must read, and read for fun and for research! If you would like to become a great writer, knowing good writing is your first step.
Find a "mentor writer" that inspires you, and learn what makes their writing so great! Find an author who is a best seller of multiple works, and whose writing is valued by many age-levels.
This is not a chance to mimic their writing, but to develop your own. Then, read, read, read!

I LOVE to write, and its because my mind is always telling stories to me! After they read my book "The Watcher Key," my friends and family would ask me where I could possibly come up with some of the crazy ideas I do, and the answer is that I love to daydream!
So if you ever catch me staring off into space, I may be writing my next book!

There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to writer's block, it has a mind of its own!
Usually, if I am stressed, tired, or distracted by the many things life throws at me, any writing I attempt will be marginal at best and I will likely have to revisit those sections later with a good eraser.
My goal is to write when I can write, which is usually just a little every day. If I try to force myself into long writing hours I find my words to be uninspiring, choppy, or unclear.
