I'm not overly sure where the idea of Alice's Promise came from. I just read the guidelines for submissions for the A Contract Of Words anthology and it was the first idea I came up with.

I am currently working on a novel and a collection of short horror/ghost stories. I have been working on my novel since December 2014, but a recent editing session made me realise how far I have come with my writing recently so it looks like a complete rewrite is in the future.

Just keep doing it. I have been writing since I was nine years old and until last year I can only imagine the drivel I was writing. I've grown a lot in the last year, since joining a great writing group on Facebook.

The fact that there are no limits. I can write whichever strange and weird thoughts come to mind. It also gets me out of talking to people as I quite often have a pen and scrap piece of paper with me.
