Elsie Davis If I were writing a children's story, it would be called a Gopher in the Garden. LOL. But as I'm a romance writer and tying it in with a mystery theme, here's another answer. Trespassers have been a problem. There are all sorts of nefarious activities that could be happening, and when one gets too close to figuring it out, danger could be lurking just around the corner. :)
Elsie Davis Great question. I hadn't thought about it but now that your asking...I'm thinking why not? Everyone deserves a second chance in life...:)
Thanks for the insight!
Elsie Davis I spend most of my time writing and haven't kicked back to read this summer. It's been a bit crazy because I'm scheduled for 5 books to be released in a four month period. (July to Oct) Three of them are my new Holidays in Hallbrook, sweet romance series.
Elsie Davis I would love to travel to Prince Edward Island where the filmed Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea. The place looks beautiful and serene. I'd love to walk around where the movies were made and experience the "set."
Elsie Davis I submit my own work to editors and publishers. One time, I sent a query letter and manuscript addressed to another publisher-good way to get rejected.
Elsie Davis Knock on wood...haven't experienced it yet. ;)
Elsie Davis Talking to readers who love my stories and holding one of my books. Never gets old. ;)
Elsie Davis Don't give up! It's a long road but worth the journey. Submit to contests and/or editors hoping to get feedback. Have thick skin when you do! Best thing that ever happened to me was the feedback to help me zero in on my weaknesses and FIX them.
Elsie Davis Love & Family...Book 3 in my Holidays in Hallbrook series.
