Andrea Jacka When my grandfather was 19 (in 1923) his aunt disappeared. Her husband suffered through two sensational trials before being convicted of her murder - the first person in New Zealand convicted of murder without a body. He spent 12 years in jail, then was quietly released. After reading numerous reports and newspaper articles about the circumstances of and around Nellie's disappearance, it seems clear to me his claim he was innocent was true.
Andrea Jacka My short answer is "Probably not". Horrors have always terrified me, both in book and movie form so for peace of mind I avoid them wishing to retain my sanity. Below is the best I could manage, and is my idea of horror. (Although I think I may have gone a little off piste.)

Alex's forehead clipped the mahogany deck trim when he tripped and fell from his yacht the Mary Lee. As he bobbed in the ocean, almost blinded by the blood that dripped into his eyes from the cut he tried desperately, and in vain, to recall if it was a dolphin or shark that had a pointed fin as one cut through the ocean toward him.
Andrea Jacka A A Milne's Forty-Acre Wood.
A gentler, innocent world, where time would be spent with good friends going on philosophical wanderings, and eating honey with my mate Winnie-the-Pooh. Lots and LOTS of honey.
I think I'd choose to be an anteater-something like that. Anna the anteater has a certain ring to it, I believe.
Andrea Jacka Well, so many books so little time! But, for starters, in no particular order:
KNIFE - Jo Nesbo
THE NIGHT FIRE - Michael Connelly
AFTER THE CRASH - Michael Bussi
THE NEW IBERIA BLUES - James Lee Burke
TWISTED TWENTY_SIX - Janet Evanovich
Andrea Jacka Hi, Linda. Thank you so much for your kind words and good wishes. I love to hear a reader enjoyed One For Another so much. Although not the only book I have written, it is the only book I have published so far, but another Hennessey Reed is definitely in the pipeline. Being the determined character that she is, she has been rather insistent about that. Kind regards, Andrea.
