I've only written one book so I am not best placed to advise. However, I have wanted to write a book for years and I realised it was never going to happen unless I did something about it - now. I sat on the sofa in front of the TV and I started writing, I just let it flow. One night led to another, and another, and before I knew it I had the beginnings of a book.

I keep writing, even if I know it's rubbish and I'll end up deleting it all. I also go walking and that helps clear the cobwebs, or swimming! I get useful ideas when ploughing up and down the pool :)
