Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
M.C. Leavitt A dream. A vivid dream. Then it sort of told me its own story. I was merely along for the ride.

How do you get inspired to write?
M.C. Leavitt Vivid dreams. I wake up and have to write it. They're so real, like, in some, I can smell scents, touch and feel things, hear creatures and whispers. It's pretty amazing.

What are you currently working on?
M.C. Leavitt Too many things. *Laughs* I just finished Goddess's Blessings on Kindle Vella and I'm working on finishing Tangled Fates, another serial on Kindle Vella. I'm launching Daughter of the Wind next month, and am gearing up for some fun things for next year. Super excited.

M.C. Leavitt Know your why.
You why will help you make clear decisions when it comes to the craft, how much you'll potentially hone it, whether to publish trad or indie, go wide or exclusive, and if you're writing for pleasure or to make money. You why can help you define strategies to accomplish your goals.

M.C. Leavitt Visiting other worlds and joining the main characters for an adventure.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
M.C. Leavitt I work on something else. I have loads of stories outlined or partially written. I go and update those and see how far I can get before I'm able to better focus so I can return to the current WIP.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
M.C. Leavitt Yulara in Destiny's Call. I'd travel and explore the different kingdoms, visit all the different races (except those that'd kill me on sight, I'd avoid those like the plague!), and see if I can trick the fairy king into gifting me some magic.
