Brian Sloan Jeff Hiller's hilarious and moving memoir "Actress of a Certain Age". I got a sneak peek on this one as Jeff showed an early draft to our writers group!

Cynthia Weiner's 80s coming of age story "A Gorgeous Excitement." This book captures NYC in a moment in time and heartache of love/obsession.

Michael Koresky's "Sick and Dirty", a nonfiction book about H'wood's Golden Age and how it created a template for modern queerness.
Brian Sloan The world of "Kavalier & Clay" (by Michael Chabon), namely the New York City of the 1930s and the World's Fair that was happening in 1939. The book brings that era to life so well and made me fascinated with that time period. I wouldn't mind stopping at Coney Island back then as well!
