Do you have a background in military aviation or do you pass this through people who do? There are times where it feels like your right on and other times it feels made up. In particular call signs, and flight designations are off. That said I do like the incorporation of call signs as it is part of military aviation and I view it as a formal way of being informal. I also like the attempt as formation names
Rick Lakin I spent 8 years in the Navy as a submarine nuclear reactor operator but in college, I got some hops on Navy aircraft in NROTC. So, you are right in that I do not have the perspective of a pilot. I sent my manuscript to an F-14 Jock, call sign Munchkin, but he never sent me notes.
I did a bit of research on the call signs. Most or all of the call signs for the military pilots are legit. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts. Moreover, I would be glad to send you the manuscript for you to send notes on the flying. I got some communication transcripts from Chief Pritt, the Blue Angels PR guy. I studied youtube maneuvers for the flying scenes.

2. Rinse and repeat until your hands are too tired to continue.
3. After you publish, buy the first book and get sales numbers posted.

Rick Lakin Yesterday, I finished Singularity. Today it is up on pre-sale. Just now, it is #6 in New Releases.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Rick Lakin I take a walk with music. I try to play new ideas in my head. The final answer is that it's totally random.
