I take a walk. It clears my head and the ideas come back. But honestly, I can't say I have writer's block too often. I can write the story. It comes tumbling out of my head faster than I can type. It's the rewriting where the hard work takes place. As Hemmingway said, "the only kind of writing is rewriting."

I get to write. Now that I am retired from my 'work' career, I can write anytime I want. Writing is not a job, it's a calling; an unquenchable thirst. I am so happy when I am writing.

Write it down. If you have an idea, stop right then and there and right it down. I have all sorts of little notes like that. I have even gotten out of bed and jotted an idea down or a new rewrite for a current book.

I am getting ready to publish the first in a two book series called Las Vegas Angels. It is a fun, tongue in cheek romance/suspense story set in Sin City with the most unlikely beings - angels. I am having lots of fun with this. After this I have the outline ready for a new series with my favorite angels called Tropical Angels.

There are always ideas and stories rattling around in my head. I have a wicked imagination and curiousity about things. The problem is not getting ideas, it's trying to get them down on paper and published. Writing gives me a way to tell my stories.
