I'm a really big fan of TV shows couples and how 'epic' their relationships are. I'd always dreamed of creating a couple with so much drama and passion and love and all that good stuff, so I said why not create two people with a story that could make people want to scream in frustration haha.

I leave the project alone for a while and think of ways to get around the conflict. Usually, for me, the scene is just wrong or doesn't fit the storyline, so I have to scrap it and think of a new one.

There's nothing better than pulling ideas out of my mind and putting it down on paper where I see the world and people I created come to life.

Write. Just write. There could be a million things going on in your personal life, which should motivate you to sit down and get away from it all as you open the story that keeps you up at night. Don't wonder if you're gonna be any good or not because you'll never know unless you try.

I get inspired to write by imagining the story as a whole, thinking of how proud I'll feel to actually finish a story that's been in my head for so long. There's nothing better than completing a book that basically overruns my brain.

I got the idea for my most recent book from myself I guess... haha! I just think 'what can strengthen the main couple's bond?' and create obstacles and write whatever can make them as epic as possible.
