I am SO BAD at this right now. My "dealing" currently consists of getting up from the computer screen in a huff and turning on re-runs of The Good Wife. I'm still learning on this one. Ask me again down the road?

I'm outlining a book right now that is practically pulled from the headlines this year. It's a subject that's very near and dear to me, and this group of characters sort of started begging me to write their story. I haven't been able to get them to be quiet, so I think it's important I listen.

Right now, I'm plowing through a first draft, trying to hit 65,000 words before April 30. I'm also finishing up copyedits on OUT OF THE BLUE, an anthology I'm co-editing with author Amy N. Edwards that features our creative writing students!
