Up to now I never had to deal with a writer's block, really. Though I see myself blessed with an almost neverending source of inspiration, of course sometimes you get exhausted. Or it happens that I realise: "This dialogue is getting nowhere" etc. In this case I take a break, I take a walk. There's always something else you can do when inspiration is running low. I reread older scenes or I correct some lines or I do some research.

I enjoy the fact that you can write whatever you like. In the beginning it's only you and the empty sheet. Nobody else tells you what to do. You are the director, you master the fate of your characters. Everything is possible. It is freedom in its purest form. Furthermore I enjoy the silence, the privateness (which to me has nothing to do with sad solitude).

Simply as that: Read, dream and write. And write and write. Keep on going, rework your text over and over again - but give it time. Be open for any inspiration, you can find it everywhere. Did I mention to write?

Right now I am about to finish a novel which also takes place in the world that I call "HOVOKK-universe". Characters from HOVOKK (my first space opera-novel) will reappear - I won't tell you yet which ones;-)

Meanwhile I generally spend a lot of my time writing. I think this activates something in your mind that keeps you thinking about the things you write even when you take a break from it. Therefore it occurs very often, I would say almost on a daily basis that scenes and sentences come into my mind when I am walking around, when I meet people, etc.. I watch everything around me, I listen. So I have to say: I am constantly inspired by things that surround me. It's a natural thing to me.
