Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Grant Allison I went sailing to the Dry Tortugas. I was talking with my son and he said, "Remember when we took the little sailboat out and it kept capsizing?" And Sailing into the Storm was born!

How do you get inspired to write?
Grant Allison Everyday life, things that happen to me or my friends. Stories told in my family. Almost anything can trigger a story!

Grant Allison Books 2 & 3 in the Wren & Frog series, and a YA post-apocalypse trilogy.
