Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Susan Marie Chapman I was in the park that is not too far from my house. Every time that I went to this park I would see the same iguana and he was always doing the same thing. One day I noticed that he was standing still and he was staring at the spot where his home used to be. I felt very upset for him. He seemed to love his very familiar routine and now that was gone and he had no idea how to carry on

How do you get inspired to write?

Susan Marie Chapman My dogs are my biggest inspirations. They are sisters and they are twins. Unconditional love and the way they interact with me and with each other.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Susan Marie Chapman I have two fictional places ZI would love to travel to. One would be Narnia.

I love animals and I am always on the side of good versus evil. Sometimes temptations are so strong to take the easy way out and do something that you know is wrong. This happens when you listen to others and you doubt yourself.
The other fictional place that I would love to visit would be Harry Potter's school. I would love to be a good witch and help people.
