Inspiration isn't an issue, its time. Most of my work has been written whilst on cottage holidays when I have space and peace and a quiet head.

I have a fifth novel in the making with a whole set of new characters. Its sitting at around 22,000 words and titled The Contract.
Once again it will be a mystery drama and this time inspired by a music album I first heard over forty years ago, and the words and music have stayed with me ever since.

For me it has to be the excitement of seeing a tale unfold as I write... in other words, though I have a outline story, I'm never 100% sure what side plots are going to creep in until I start hitting keys.
