Just keep working at it. Set goals for yourself, but also be forgiving if you don't reach them. That doesn't mean you can't keep going.
Also, just write. A first draft is supposed to be bad, but if you wait for each sentence to sound perfect before putting it on paper, then you'll never even start.

I try to find ways to put myself in the mindset or world of what I'm writing, such as: listening to music, watching movies/TV with similar topics to my project, crafting a quick outline, mind mapping, or reading.
