Camping in the the woods, near Mt. St. Helen, we sat around the fire in the dark after a long day of hiking. We knew something or someone was out there as it had been following us all day, but we didn't know what it was or what to do about it as a loud moan came from the bushes fifty feet away.

Fictional Book World? What does that even mean? I am an earth man so I cannot even think about being on another planet to tell you the truth. Oh maybe the Moon or Mars is ok but outside of those I am lost in Space.
In real life I have made over 200 trips to Asian, and Europe. Namely to Germany, China, Korea, Japan and so forth. All my books are based, to some degree, on my actual trips, people, and places I have been to.
What do I do there when I go ... sight see and people watch. Get to know the culture. Lots of fun if you enjoy travel.

I read the Bible almost everyday. Between that and writing and promoting my books I don't have much time to read. However, I am reading right now the Earth Chronicles.

Actually most of my stories are based on something that happened or something I did in my life. It has been a great mystery that I am still here. I thank God for Blessing me.

It depends in what books. In Critical Incidents it is Jack Gunn and Miyoung.
In Tocabaga and Templars Quest it is Jack and Maggie.
In my new book coming out in 2 or 3 weeks it is Jack and Midori.
All that said Maggie and Jack really click together. If Jack wasn't married they would hook up.

I live in St. Pete Florida. I have lived here almost 30 years. I started writing a long time ago, about 10 or 15 years ago. I wrote articles on Yahoo and then my Accountant said I should write a book on Accounting. Titled, Small Business Accounting Tools. That was my first book. One day my publisher suggested I should try and write some fiction stories.
I always had a story to tell people ... my friends and sometimes strangers. So I gave it a try and wrote my first fiction book TOCABAGA. I had no idea what I was doing. Anyway people liked it so I continued writing fiction stories.
To do so one needs to weave truth and fiction together based on your life experiences. My books contain many facts or truthful tidbits about history or life and culture. I quote myself "In every truth there is non-truth ... in every fiction there is non-fiction."
My next book is THE FINGER COLLECTOR. It is a due out in 2 or 3 weeks. It's a great mystery thriller which takes place in Japan. Jack Gunn my main character falls in love with a woman named Midori, who is in the Mafia or Yakuza.

A mystery thriller that takes place in Japan where I have traveled to over 100 times. THE FINGER COLLECTOR is the title. It is a plot which involves a American, Jack Gunn, my main character becomes a bodyguard and Director of Security for Kamata Enterprises which is a Yakuza Mafia related company. He falls in love with Kamata's adopted daughter, Midori, and she with him.

Good question. My most recent book was Gun Talk. I came up with the idea after the Orlando Terrorist attacks.
