I just try and plow through it. Even if I get a paragraph written, I still consider that a success. Progress one word at a time... Although I envy those writers that can write 5K in a day. I would love the ability to do that, but my OCD won't let me. Once I finish a chapter, my internal editor kicks in and wants to clean it up and perfect it before I can move on to the next.

Currently, my muse has me hopping from 3 different couple's stories. I wish it would just let me work on and finish one, but it has had different ideas lately. One is a Novella called Temperature's Rising a book I'm working on for Evernight Publishing's Cupid's Conquest Line. Another is an experiment I'm working on outside of the Medical Romances I usually write. And the last is the 3rd book in my Dating Series called Dating Trouble.

Find a great critique group or partner. Someone to not simply read your work, but help you shape your craft while you learn the "rules" of writing that are must if you want to submit to a publisher.

Writing is an outlet for me to escape the stress of some of the heart wrenching scenarios I live through while working as a nurse. I'm always looking for a happily ever after and I dream of ways to turn sadness into happiness. That's why I love to put my characters in inane, hilarious situations.

Mostly ideas come to me while driving. I commute a lot for work and I listen to a lot of different genres of music. Lyrics speak to me and a single line has been known to ignite a spark of "What if....". That's how Dating 911 started while listening to the Police's Roxanne!
