I used to let writer's block cripple my progress for weeks at a time. Then I made a breakthrough in my writing process. I told myself that I would write everyday. That sounds too easy right? It sounds like some shyster self help guru, just write everyday how hard can it be? Well here's the trick, I will write down one sentence if I am blocked. If I do that then I feel like at least I wrote something that day so that maybe the next day I'm feeling better about myself and I begin to chip away at that pesky ol' writer's block.
