In that book, my memoir, I was my own heroine—and found my motivation and determination through the memories I held of a woman who, when I was becoming a young adult, had looked to for guidance and wisdom. She was my role model. Then she became my muse as I wrote my most recent book, releasing mid-February 2026, "Marie Conner, A Leading Lady: Her Life and Civic Leadership in a Bygone Era."
