I am so so excited for Secret Haven! What was your favorite part of the writing process and who is your favorite couple from Sparrow Falls?

Catherine Cowles I'm so happy you're excited for Secret Haven! That has been my absolute favorite book to write so far. I think because the characters lived in my head for so long before I was able to write them. And because I knew their story from when I first started writing the series, I was able to leave lots of little Easter eggs, which is my favorite!

Hi! Omg, I am a REALLY big fan of you Sparrow Falls series. It's like one of my most favourite series of all time. So sorry to ask this, but do you have any idea as to when Secret Haven is going to be published this year?

Hi! Im interested in reading fragile sanctuary, but can you tell me if this book has any connection to any of your previous series? Are any of the series connected to other series, and if so what is the order to read them?

Catherine Cowles Thank you so much for wanting to read Fragile Sanctuary! You can honestly read the books in any order because they're all standalones. If I was recommending to a friend, I would say start with FS and then go back to the Lost & Found series, because the hero is mentioned a few times in that series, so you get a fun little Easter egg!

Catherine Cowles You honestly can start anywhere! All of my books can be read as standalones. But whenever a friend asks where to start, I recommend starting with Tattered Stars or Whispers of You!

Your most favorite trope and your least favorite trope? 👀

Catherine Cowles I have soooooo many favorite tropes. Friends to lovers, woman on the run, age gap, who hurt you, forced proximity. Least favorite is harder but probably bully because I'm a wimp when it comes to my heroes being mean. 😂

Do you always wait for an idea to pop into your head before you start writing a new book?

Catherine Cowles Books usually come to me in pieces. A character's backstory, the suspense plotline, the location. Once I have all the pieces I can finally start writing!

Hi Catherine, I love your work! I am in the middle of the wrecked series. Love it so much. Do you ever think you would do books for Caelyns siblings? Will, Ava and Mia? Would love to see there HEA! Also. Do you think you would ever do a series or more EMT/ firefighter stories. My bf is a Emt/ firefighter and I love finding stories based on his career. I know falling embers just came out and I can’t wait to read!

what inspires you to write the series and what is favorite series so far?

Catherine Cowles The Tattered & Torn Series has definitely been my favorite to write so far. I'd had the idea for the prologue for Tattered Stars for a long time. And I liked the idea of exploring how a single event could impact a town and family. It was also really fun to write how the hero has misconceptions about the heroine and then has to grovel for her forgiveness!
