When I am experiencing writer's block, the first thing that I do is to acknowledge it. Writing is an experience and sometimes you have to "write" down what you are feeling or thinking in that moment. By writing in the midst of writer's block, you are pushing yourself to continue being the author instead of allowing the experience to consume you. The only thing that should be consumed is the ink feeding the paper..
