Crimson is about a young woman who begins a job on an isolated estate in the mountains of Colorado, teaching the kids of the eccentric scientist, Dr. Bennett. I began writing it while homeschooling my own kids. I was bored and wished I could mind-control my kids into doing their work. I lived in and around Durango, Colorado for about 15 years and that's where it takes place.

I try to be outside every day. No headphones, no talking, just me and the outdoors either walking or on my bike. Sometimes I get inspired being outside, but other times my mind just goes to these strange places. I feel like I always have a voice in the back of my head that begins its crazy ideas with, "What if...?" LOL.

I'm working on Scarlet, the 2nd book in the Moroi Society Series. I like to call it a mystery romance :) This book picks up where Crimson left off except from Dr. Sarah Sheppard's point of view. She's determined to find some answers from the creators of the Moroi Plague. I'm also working on an untitled Sci-Fi that takes place in a world that reminds me of the TV series Firefly. The main character is a medic on a freighter who treats a mysterious, injured pilot.
