David Mullin I like to do brainstorming sessions once in a while and this book started with an idea I came up with during that time. It has taken about three or four starts to get it where it is now, though.
David Mullin I do not wait for inspiration. I set a deadline, how many words I suspect my novel to be, and then come up with a daily word count that I have to meet every day. Once I start on a book, I don't take any breaks. Not even for holidays or falling ill.
