I usually will read book or a few pages from the book. Then I would make sure I have my headphones in and try to become the story. This has worked every time for me.

Being able to express yourself. A lot of times we have difficulty speaking our feelings and writing can be the best way to communicate it. If you have a story to tell, write it down.

Just keep writing! Even if it doesn't make sense or your plot doesn't seem good, just keep writing and read over it constantly. Take what you like and get rid of the rest. Ask for ideas and make sure to read many books of your genre!

The idea from Kevin's Chronicles came from a dream. I'm a lucid dreamer so I was able to take control of the dream. That same day, I woke up and wrote a short story to it and eventually was able to turn it into a novel.
