Over a God's Dead Body is going to be a series, and I have more books/stories in it outlined. Prior to starting another in that series, I'm working on the introductory novel to another series following a private investigator that hires an intern.

Random things I see or run into. Some of the items in Over a God's Dead Body were a result of my brother and I joking about something, others were side effects of things I observed. The melodramatic and tragic musings of Kyle were actually inspired by something Mike Meyers described about Canadians in an interview with Terry Gross on NPR.

I had the title originally as Real Witches Don't Ride Rubbermaid and it started as just Esmy coming into a world with magic and becoming a witch. When I started asking how that world works and who introduces her, it fleshed out to a more complex story with a lot more characters. From there, I just had some fun with it.
