Hello! It's set in a fantasy world but is very much based on the history of our own world (I.E colonisation/invasion). The idea just sort of unfolded as Mock began to reveal who he was to me.

I don't call it writer's block. If I don't know what to write next, it usually means the story needs a rewrite. This usually happens within the first 25 000 words of a book (I start writing a lot of books that fail).
