There are so many things, but I guess being able to allow your ideas and stories to flow. It's pretty wonderful to live through lots of different things and live in lots of different worlds without actually moving from the chair. I'm in India at the moment, for 99 Nightingale Lane, and my research is taking me everywhere. It's fab.
