Ramie Wolf This is probably the toughest question to answer. Mainly because I don't really have one. Ideas come to me in the weirdest ways. Dreams, simply sitting here playing online poker, even walking my dogs. I have been working on the Legion of Sin series for the last 20+ years. The whole story line is so intricate, it took some time to flesh out. Not to mention I never intended for there to be 3 male heroes. Sometimes I have to simply sit back, close my eyes with some music, and let my subconscious do the rest.
Ramie Wolf My grandmother, and my love of reading. I was raised by my grandparents, and as a very little girl, my grandmother didn't insist I read, she encouraged me to. Even at the ages of 3-4, I was an extremely stubborn girl. She knew if she insisted, I would rebel simply as a matter of principle. She was a sneaky woman, and I thank her every day for knowing me so well. I read my first novel series at 4, devoured books by the dozens a week in the years that followed, and by 13 was ignoring homework to instead live in my own world.
Ramie Wolf I am currently working on the third novel in my Legion of Sin series, Eternity of Sin. I am also fleshing out the fourth and fifth books of the series.
Ramie Wolf Never, ever give up on your dream. If you want it bad enough, and put in the time and effort to make it your best, it will happen. Dreams are meant to be lived, not locked away in a vault.
Ramie Wolf Being creative, and creating a world/characters that other people love. I've always been a dreamer beneath the realist exterior. For as long as I can remember, I've always had stories floating in my head.
Ramie Wolf I don't, at least not very well. Before I published Nights of Sin, I was stuck in a dead-end job that sucked the life out of me for 8 years. For about 2-3 of those years, I didn't write. At all. I thought about my writing, continued to scheme and plot, but couldn't put anything down. Once I realized what the underlying cause of my problem was, I finally decided I couldn't continue to work at a job that would only make me miserable. So I quit, and 6 months later published Nights of Sin.
