As cliche as it sounds, a dream. I had been listening to Robert Jordan's the Wheel of Time Series and I had a dream that I could control water just like Egwene or Nynaeve. And in the dream I was my main character Shauna.

I would say just keep working at it. I spent so much time with The Frituals antagonizing over scenes that when I did share people absolutely loved. You are your harshest critic.
