I would put my kids to bed and make up "little" stories to tell them. We had animal flashcards and I would show them each animal and say "This is a gorilla and this is how he sleeps". I would then lay in a position that I thought the animal would sleep in. My kids loved it and my wife encouraged me to make it into a children's book.
