The book series I'm currently working on, JOURNEY OF THE ZODIARKS, began as dreams.

Many things inspire me to write, but I would have to say my dreams are at the top of that list! My dreams are very vivid! I usually get up in the middle of the night, write the dream down while I can still remember it, and then re-read that scrap of paper later to see if I still think it would be a good story.

I am currently writing book 2 in the series, JOURNEY OF THE ZODIARKS: Darkness Reigns. I have many other books floating around in my head, but I'm focusing on my Zodiarks for now.

As a new author, I'm still learning my art. However, my advice for aspiring writers would be to learn the skill the best you can (strive to master it), never give up, and practice writing often!

The best thing about being a writer is finding out that my story positively entertained someone, and that they were able to mentally escape into their imagination through what I've created.

I deal with writer's block by stepping away from the book to simply think. I use that extra time to brainstorm new ideas, and then come back to the book to figure out how to implement them.
