Being able to dream and make it real for others. Think about all the things you find good about a book and then create it for others to read. Be true to yourself, if your style of writing is different so what. If you didn`t go to Uni and do well in English Lit and Language, so what. I failed English first time round and got a C in GCSE second time round. It doesn`t matter write because you enjoy it and it allows your soul to fly.

Keep any writing you do safe, you never know when you will use it. Also it may form a bigger story when you put your writing together.

Just read, if it isn't coming read and be inspired. Or you can carry around a little notepad and when ideas pop in document them. You never know when you will feel inspired. Don't give up.

I have been interested for a long time but a doctor at work inspired me by making me aware how to get self published. Dr Sweeney Johal. I decided to write down how many times I have had a supernatural experience and was gobsmacked at how many. So I initially was writing to remember then it progressed into a book!

My children wouldn`t put their head in the bath to wash their hair so I told them the new shampoo and conditioner was made from goblin snot and fairy berries. I then made up a story on the spot that they sat transfixed till I finished. It was amazing. I have never seen my kids so still unless they are asleep.
