When I was a kid we lived in this house that everyone in my family swears was haunted. The TV would turn on or off at random, the toilet would flush when nobody was in there, and at night you'd hear steps go to every room in the house except for yours and then eventually go downstairs.
The mystery I'd want to explore would be why I was the only one in the family to NOT have any experience with the supposed ghost. My mum, dad, brother, and sister all swear that they all had the same experiences. I don't rcall ever having an experience with a ghost in that house or any other.

The same place I get a lot of my ideas, song lyrics. Seriously, songs I love and have heard a hundred times or more can catch me with just the right lyric in just the right state of mind in just the right moment.

To be honest, not well. Typically I stare at a blank screen, write several sentences and then delete them until I write something I actually like and can work with.
Sometimes I go to my outline, at least what I use of an outline. Sometimes that helps.
If all else fails,. I go for a walk with my dog or out for a smoke to clear my head. Writer';s block happens to me usually if I'm over thinking things.
