Thanks for asking; I'm glad you're interested in more of the MtM books! I am working on a new series (which I hope you'll enjoy just as much) but I'm definitely not closing the door on More than Most. I have no doubt that between other works, I will be revisiting this collection and adding to it.

Hi! Thanks for asking! I have noticed others wondering the same thing as well XD Kells is using a book set called The Braille Connection. It is a set of books (meant to be used with the help of a teacher, but if course Kells foregoes that) designed to teach former print users to read in Braille. It uses raised versions of the print letters with the Braille equivalent beside them to begin with, amd then increases in complexity in each successive book. I haven't used them personally, but they look like incredible learning aids.

Lucas and Carter evolved together. I love their character archetypes (which you'll see more than once in my future works), the fair delicate one and the dark strong one. But I also wanted to subvert the idea that the sex worker, the more 'feminine' of them, would be the one that needed saving. I knew I wanted Lucas to be outwardly successful but also cripplingly flawed, and that he would need someone strong and brazen to balance with him.
Thankfully, I didn't need to look far for inspiration in terms of their sweet and steamy moments, as I'm lucky enough to get a lot of that in my real life!

I am actually working on a few things right now! S.O.S. is going to be the first of a 3 or 4 book collection of steamy m/m romances. The next book will come out the first weekend in August! And we've already caught a glimpse of one of the main characters... Jackson Forrest, the bodyguard Lucas points out to Carter during the gala!

The series Lucas wrote is based very very loosely on the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. It was my favorite growing up, and when I tried to think of a successful fantasy series to base Lucas' off of, it was the one that fit.

The explanation behind Lucas' last name is actually rather boring, unfortunately. I had already decided that his pen name would be BK Gold, and I wanted it to be a familiarization of his real name, so I looked up 'gold' in different languages until I found one that I thought suited him. It did work out well though, because I definitely see him as having some sort of Slavic ancestry based on his coloring/build.
