When I tried to stand, I fell again, and this time the bone pierced through both skin and pants. I was screwed out here in the middle of nowhere, a living buffet for whatever wanted a taste.

Ahhh...the biggest mystery in my life to date is actually kind of gross. Let the squeamish stop reading here.
Many years ago, I got a root beer at the cafeteria at work. Took a sip and let's say, it wasn't root beer. Some a****** actually peed in the bottle and closed it up. A trip to the ER and although grossed out, I was okay. This was a great question as I think about new ideas for my Paranormal Payback series. To date, I have "gotten even" with quite a few people that made my childhood rough. Perhaps it's time to include this episode in a story!

Write what you know, at least to start. If you're just beginning, you'll have plenty of challenges with plot and character development without having to to ponderous research. That can come later.

Creating. My writing is a world and I'm like God. I write "let there be light" and there is.

I go to what I know and start writing. When you stick with what you're familiar with, there's always something to kick start the writing engine.
