I am currently writing the second book in the Poison Ivy crime series. I'm about a third of the way through the first draft. I am also reworking a draft of a non fiction title I wrote and finished last year. I don't mean to be coy but it's in a sensitive space at the moment and I am waiting to tick a box before I can proceed.

I spend a lot of time with animals, both exotic and indigenous Australian species. My personal experience working with fruit bats was, to use a cliche, life altering. Given the threat to the species and the current red tape ensnarling the assisting of local wild life, I wanted to address this is an adventure tale and create a sense of understanding and compassion
