Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Chris Suddeth An Angel in my dining room gave me the spark and I use and used my energy work to inform almost all my writing.

Chris Suddeth An angel gave me the push I needed and I have taken it from there while honing my skills to listen to life.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Chris Suddeth Get that pen moving. Start small and keep pounding. To borrow a golf axiom, I like to find my story in the dirt and let the clubs do the talking.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Chris Suddeth Creating worlds while commenting on the seen and unseen of this world. I've wanted to write since I was 12 on the rocks of Fripp Island, SC, so to do it while now living here is a dream come true.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Chris Suddeth I more often deal with making the time to write. But when the block happens, I realize how intimidating the blank page can be and just start moving the pen. Also, when writing I make sure to find a stopping point that is right before I run out of what I want to say. That way, the next time I sit down to write, I already know what I'm going to say and it just flows from there.
