I haven't done much in terms of reading this summer. However, I'm currently reading A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry, and so far it's a great read.

I'm working on a novella, set in my homeland Guyana. I have a draft of the story so far. I will be releasing the title and summary of the story as my writing unfolds in the future.

I get inspired through reading works of other authors that interest me.

The idea for my debut novel, By The Mud Stove, came from the precious memories I have growing up in Rose Hall in my homeland Guyana. Over the years I wrote down notes of my thoughts and compiled them. In 2012, I embarked on putting them in a novel. It took me six years to complete, through laughter and tears, and I had it published just last year, in June 2018.
