Ty Noel Well I began writing it in the summer of 2016, which is when the presidential election had really started heating up. I had seen a lot of disdain for both candidates and how people in both parties felt the other would bring chaos and destruction to the United States if the opposing candidate won the election. So I decided to write about it and the book hopefully reflects those feelings a little bit.
Ty Noel Honestly, just anything that is happening around me. If there is a movie or television show that has captivated my attention, odds are my work will dive more into that genre. If something exciting is going on in my life, I'll take that excitement and turn it into new works. Sometimes, even simple things can get me writing. The other day I wrote a blog post called Always Rolling and I had the idea to write it simply looking out the window and watching the trees slowly blow in the wind. The hardest part is just sitting down and getting the work done.
Ty Noel Oh this is a long list. At the moment I've got roughly four novels that I'm outlining and then trying to decide which route I want to go.

One novel will be a direct follow up to A Monstrous Tomorrow.

The second is falling somewhere between novel and novella that will set up a large and expanded universe for my works to play in.

The third is just a little passion project I've had drawn up since High School that I feel may be ready to hit the light of day.

The final outline is experimenting with writing either a children's or YA series. I've had several people reach out and tell me that their children wish to be author's and they enjoy knowing someone that is. It has inspired me to want to write some works directly for them.

Besides that, I've also started a production company that's called Pantheon Productions where I write and a friend films creative content for ourselves and for any clients that reach out to us.

Finally, I'm writing free short stories on my blog. I'm hoping that instead of giving away parts of my books, I can just showcase my writing for people that want a sample before purchasing on my blog instead.
Ty Noel Just write. I know that's the advice of just about every writer, but if every writer says to write everyday, then it has to have some truth to it.

Also, don't worry about whether or not you're writing something great or terrible to start. No first draft is great, that why we edit. As long as you're writing everyday, you'll get better. Just like how athletes say they need to practice everyday to improve, as a writer you need to do the same.
Ty Noel I absolutely love just getting to tell a story. I've always felt like I am an entertainer that has something to say. I can say that I've tried my hand at music and acting but it didn't stick quite the same way as writing. There is just something relaxing about sitting down in a comfortable chair, looking at a screen, and wondering how I will impress and entertain an audience today.
Ty Noel Whenever I get writer's block, I generally start by pacing around my house and talking out loud to myself. This then leads me to think about whether or not the neighbor's can see me and so then I question if they think I'm crazy. I then question my sanity and deal with that by going outside and screaming and kicking a soccer ball and playing with my dog. Once my mind is completely blank and I've enjoyed the fresh air and playing with the dog, I generally head back inside and get back to work.

If the weather is bad, I just force myself to keep writing and if it's lousy work, I go back and do several edits later on.
